The Ultimate Summer Breakfast Bowl

This ridiculously delicious breakfast bowl is packed with health benefits and will give you amazing energy to power through the morning. It's also super easy, and it contains ICE CREAM, making it the perfect choice for those sweltering summer mornings.
Ingredients

4 or more ripe, peeled bananas, frozen

Dairy or non-dairy milk of your choice

1 cup rolled oats

1 pinch salt (optional)

Almond butter

Almonds, slivered or whole

Blueberries (or other fruit of your choice)

Cinnamon

Directions

1. To make the banana ice cream: Place the 4 frozen, peeled, ripe bananas in a blender or food processor. If possible, break them up into chunks. Add a splash of milk as desired, and blend until smooth. Transfer the mixture to an airtight, freezer-safe container and place in the freezer.

2. To make the oatmeal: Cook the rolled oats on the stovetop, according to package directions. Cook until you have achieved your desired oatmeal consistency.

3. To assemble the bowls: Layer one serving (1/2-1 cup) of oatmeal in the bottom of a bowl. In the center of the bowl, place 1 large scoop of banana ice cream. On top of the ice cream, spoon one dollop of almond butter (or other nut butter of your choosing). Pour one splash of milk over the mixture to add some liquid. Top with almonds and blueberries, and sprinkle with cinnamon.
