Excited to get started! I'm about two and a half weeks into a kickstarter (my first one) and loving this site. Gained a lot of weight due to some thyroid issues and some mental health stuff, and I'm excited I'm finally starting to shed some of that especially with my brother's wedding coming up in a year. I've been using Daily Burn since mid-December (which I HIGHLY recommend) and LoseIt! to track calories and macros. Good luck, everyone!

I started a youTube channel to document my health journey and share about the mental side of losing weight. I would love if you checked it out! It is called Prairie Imperfection.
In my January dietbet I recorded weighing myself everyday to show that the numbers are not a smooth line down but eventually it trends down if you are patient and consistent.

I had a very successful day today. My family had KFC and I did not break my way of eating (WOE) I did not even flinch! And I love KFC but I want to live longer and healthier more! So as I prepare for bed I am grateful for this group (All of you wonderful people) for listening, responding and encouraging me to get fit again. What’s for lunch? The weather and power outage made dinner choices tough but I made it. Went with cottage cheese and fresh pineapple, sliced cucumber to scoop 2T of hummus and a hard boiled egg.
