I did my first run (jog) in 3 years since I was diagnosed with asthma and it was hard but I can do it!

Just finished my 3 jog/run this week. It felt great. I am under a lot of stress and getting out there with my pup is really helping! 😀🏃‍♀️🐶

My right knee hurts AND I hate the treadmill but running in the snow is a bigger problem. Hopefully it’s clear tomorrow.

I've been an athlete my whole life. I've always been the over weight athlete. I started my journey to health in May 2017. I found a program that worked for me. I lost 70lbs in about 7 months with little to no exercise. I've been maintaining for a year, last November was my first runbet. I just hopped back on program and am ready to start my journey to my ultimate goal, weigh less than what my learners permit SAID I weighed, because even at 15 that was a lie. It finally started to cool down here in Florida so I thought I'd add in running while actively trying to lose weight too. Now that I have My nutrition in check I think it's going to actually help instead of hinder. My hubs did his own thing while I was on plan and then a year later he decided to join. He lost 40 doing his own thing and then dropped the next 50 in no time! He plays basketball outside daily with his coworkers. I'm so proud of him! I'm so glad that we are teaching that handsome little guy good habits. No holiday excuses here! I'm ready!

After running for 20 minutes I realized my run was categorized as snowboarding in runkeeper. Is there a way to correct it to running?

Curious to know what some of your motivations are for doing this runbet! I'm going to be a bridesmaid next summer and am aiming to be 20lbs down by then 😜

Hi all! I've done a few dietbets but never a runbet, so I'm excited for the challenge! Just joined today so 3 of my rest days are already used up. Time to dust off my gym membership card.
