Met my week 1 goal of finishing one of these first three runs sub 7 min mile (barely). Ok so it was indoors with no incline but #babysteps

Not a bad treadmill run! I forgot a hoodie and it was freezing, dark, and icy. Pounded out 4 two days post-dopey. Nothing hurt, shockingly.

Saturday I had an unfortunate incident with a crack in a parking lot, rolled my ankle and fell. As I was picking myself up off the pavement, my first three thoughts were... 1. Is my phone okay? 2. I hope no one saw me. 3. OMG I have my half marathon RunBet starting on Monday; I can't be hurt. Saturday night it was pretty sore, but felt better yesterday and even better today so decided to give it a go. I figured it was only 4 miles, I could do it. I managed to get in 7, so I consider it a victory over the parking lot crack. Good luck to everyone as we get started!!!

Let’s do THIS! I’m in MN so this will be some movie watching time on the treadmill. Where is everyone else? Entered in a race to finish?

I have done this bet before and found it really tough so I am not sure if signing up is a wise step. Perhaps it will be a slightly easier this time! Have fun.

Hey everyone. I’m about to finish training for a half next weekend. I figured this would keep me motivated after that to maintain between races.
