Finished this bet Thursday, but got a PR by well over a minute in my 5k race today thanks to the training.

Finished this bet today with a 6k that actually ended up being 4.14 miles! And I had my personal best time. This bet was hard, especially the last couple weeks, but it has helped me develop some running habits I hope to keep!

How do you all keep from getting bored at mile 2+?? I can do 2 easily to 2.5 , after that I’m getting super bored and wishing the 3 mile mark was over... maybe I need some new songs on my playlist or a vest/jacket to start running outside since we are having warmer weather now. Anyone have a good running vest or jacket recommendation and a hat?

Anyone else really feeling it this week? I hadn't run in years before this bet. I thought this would be a great way to get back into it, but it feels slightly too intense for where my body is. I've got to get out and get my 2.8 mile run in (and after the 3 mile run yesterday, I think it will be a slow 2.8 miles).
