I finished today - with four straight treadmill days. Yuck! (I didn't want to take a chance and have technology issues at my 10K race on Sunday!) I'm happy to say that I made it through this training game without re-injury and it feels wonderful! Good luck to everyone who is finishing with a race this weekend. And congrats to everyone who stuck with the challenge. Happy Running!

So, I accidentally signed up for my 10k this weekend. Would you suggest running a mile beforehand or afterwards? Why?

Sorry ahead for the long post but I want to tell you a little about my store for the person out there today that is thinking idk if I can make it 5 or 5 1/2 miles today YOU CAN!! On March 8th 2019 I turned 30 years old it wasn’t the best day of my life but it was special because on March 9th I married this man my best friend! We had years ahead to love each other, have a family, and grow old at least I thought we did.. three weeks after our wedding I went to a doctor appointment just your normal girl appointment but two weeks later when I went in for my test I found out things didn’t come back okay. Five weeks married and I have to go home and tell my family and husband I have Cancer I called my mom crying I told her about the surgery they wanted to do right away and how if I don’t do them I will die if I do them I most likely will never have a family it was a horrible time I have had 2 major surgeries in the first 6 months of marriage but I am Cancer free I let running go from May of this year to July as soon as I was okayed by the doctor to run I was back at it. It doesn’t feel the same I get tired I cry somedays during runs but I keep trying because I can’t ever give up on this life I was given. And the man in this picture believes in me so much it’s amazing. So today when you think you can’t do it just remember yes you can because here I am today texting you this after running this morning.. I can do anything so can you!!!
