I'm really pleased with my pace, recovery and energy. My 48 year old body responds beautifully to nearly 1000 miles of running this year. Before Thrive, I was over 30 pounds heavier and could only dream of running this pace. My infrequent routine was to do exactly this run: 30 minutes of going as fast as I could. My milage was never 3-miles, it was more like 2.8 miles. #BigHairyLamb

I’m having a tough time this week. Just winded like crazy. My woods running trail used to be all construction planks (they were doing creek bed restoration and put down a wooden road for the construction vehicles). They’ve been pulling it up and regrading the trail...but it’s still a dirt path with rocks and roots. I guess I’m still getting used to the new terrain. Whew. This is hard.
