On vacation and running terrain that doesn't exist at home, ran the most elevation gain I've ever done this weekend.

This is an unusual record but as a lifelong midwesterner, it was a a new pr for me this weekend to make the 15 mile per hour runbet requirement on my first ever desert run!

So my best this time around was to run the whole 5k without walking and I accomplished it with my granddaughter in the stroller and the last few yards we ran together!! Best 5k ever!!!

That run when you have to or you will lose your runbet but you forgot to charge your phone so no outdoor run, all your running bras and shirts are in the wash and your Fitbit is dead. Argh! Kinda ran on the treadmill— but this dingy woman also forgot to do her inhaler so she couldn’t breathe!!! But I got it done

I survived my first half marathon! I have been nursing a pulled groin (interior hip flexor) for a month. It was a beautiful trail half snaking up and down the hills along the river. The leaves were covering the trail obstacles and I tripped several times and agrivated my pulled hip, so I had to walk more than I planned. I am super proud of my 3:30 half. It was a tough trail run with my longest distance ever and greatest elevation change ever.
