Happy Sunday RUNday! If you’re new to the group, I wanted to share that over the next 3 weeks I’ll be posting an optional challenge that will run the duration of the week. This is not required, but it’s just a little push to go beyond the requirement of the 16 minute pace. I ask that you share photos on the feed as best you can showing you completed the bullet points listed below. As incentive I’ll giveaway a $25 gift card to anywhere you’d like (I generally do Amazon but anywhere is fine!) Here’s the run down: This week, set a mile PR. Setting a mile PR doesn’t have to be a one time thing. Dedicate the next 7 days to setting PR. If you set a new mile PR on day 2, spend the next 5 days trying to improve your time. Next up, instead of the required 16 minute pace, push yourself to meet a 15 minute pace (or faster)! To really get your legs burning, I challenge you to do 50 squats before and after your run! Lastly since many of us have been trapped inside and may be running on our treadmills indoors, I encourage you to get at least one of your runs completed outside! Share pics of your scenery or anything else you want to share! Next Sunday I’ll post a qualifiers post and reminder to share all of your pictures if you forgot to earlier in the week and next Monday I’ll announce the winner! Good morning! Happy Thursday! I wanted to make a post for you all to comment with songs that pump you up. I don’t know about you all, but I’m currently doing the Couch to 5K app and sometimes I just want to blast a song to get me through my measly 3 minute runs 🤣 Or maybe if I’m going all out in the last few minutes I really want a song to hype me up. What song is that for you?! I need to add more to my playlist and looking for some of your favorites! Music gets me through my runs! I don’t know how some people run without music 🤯 Hope you all are having a great week!! If you didn’t get in runs this week, no more rest days left!! Let’s get it done!! 👊🏼👊🏼
